The Business
Well established manufacturing firm, at the forefront of their sector, have created a new role for a Senior Finance Business partner to join their best in class finance function. This role has been created following a number of high profile contract wins and to support in driving and integrating a number of business wide projects.
The Role
In this true business partnering remit you work closely with the Finance Director, partnering with senior stakeholders, managers and budget holders, to drive business change and improvements, ensuring there is consistency and standardisation in approach.
Key responsibilities;
• Implementing performance frameworks across the business concentrating on multi-functional collaboration to drive the strategy, operational performance and improvement plans
• Using your expertise in Finance Operations you will support the wider business on change programmes to ensure clear outcomes with continuous improvement plans
• Working with the Sales and Operations function and supporting the Finance Director in the integration activities and interface/also acting as a conduit into the core finance team
• Engaging cross functionally, with Senior Stakeholders, Managers and Budget Holders, to drive business change and improvements.
• Challenge and due diligence on new business activity to enable approval of pricing proposals and delivery of the business strategy
• Provide support to Operations Directors and Senior Managers to further drive performance improvement
The Person
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to influence the business in a proactive and inquisitive manner, whilst delivering financial complexities to non-Finance staff. You will have strong influencing skills, the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and present management information to simplify complex business challenges.

- Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Experience in supporting the delivery of long term complex programmes/projects
Desirable
- Experience of working in a manufacturing company and/or large PLC environment
- Experience in establishing and driving programme performance through integrated teams
