About the role
We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a finance team in their Newcastle office.
Hours: Full time across Monday - Friday.
Hybrid working: 4 days in the office and 1 day at home.
Salary:
Up to £23,000 per annum.

As an Accounts Assistant, your role will entail:
To provide full administration and invoice support to the Finance Team including:
- Raising and completion of sales invoices.
- Processing payment invoices both through financial software and the bank.
- Handling general enquires, processing documents, engaging in file maintenance & records.
- Use of case management software.
- Understanding exchange rate calculations.
- Use of Excel, Word and other “Office” software in addition to company specific software.
- Undertaking credit control and reconciliation duties.
- Offering general administrative support to team members as directed by management as well as responding to external enquiries from clients, colleagues and other third-party service providers.
- Processing documentation and information, including data inputting, and generate correspondence in response to queries.
- Monitor the e-mail inbox and distribute accordingly.
