Position: Credit Supervisor

Location: Soweto, Johannesburg

Salary: R12,000 - R15,000 per month

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Credit Supervisor to join our team in Soweto, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the retail industry and must reside near Protea Glen with the ability to commute daily.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise the credit control team and ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor and manage customer credit accounts.
• Perform credit assessments and approve or decline credit applications.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts and handle customer queries.
• Prepare and review credit reports and statements.
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve any credit-related issues.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a credit supervision role within the retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of credit management principles and practices.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in credit management software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must live close to Protea Glen and have reliable transport for daily commuting.
