We are proudly a family owned, privately held business built on strong family values.

Key responsibilities -
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organisation's objectives, including financial, operational, strategic, and compliance risks.
Analyse and evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks, considering internal and external factors, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to reduce the likelihood and impact of identified risks, collaborating with relevant stakeholders across the organisation.
Establish robust monitoring mechanisms to track the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and provide regular reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders on the status of key risks and mitigation efforts.
Review and enhance internal control procedures and policies to strengthen risk management practices and promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organisation.
Develop and maintain a management plan to effectively respond to and recover from potential crises or emergencies, ensuring business continuity and minimising reputational damage.
Influence and lead the development of an active risk culture across the division.
Ensuring NZFSG meets the requirements of our Compliance Assurance Programme, internal policies, frameworks and risk appetite tolerances.
Contribute to the delivery risk and compliance projects and strategic initiatives.
As the subject matter expert, provide advice and support to the organisation to ensure compliance to our obligations. Coach, mentor and develop the team of analysts and champions on an ongoing basis to uplift risk maturity in the business.
Develop effective working relationships with Senior Management and a diverse group of key stakeholders.
Develop and present quality and effective reporting to the Risk & Compliance Committee, NZFSG Board and external regulators, including FMA, as required.
