Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Graduate Degree in Economics, Accounting, or Financial Management
Demonstrated experience in the Accounting and Finance area.
3 years experience in similar functions
Communication skills
Ability to function in a team
Computer proficiency (competent in MS Office tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
Having worked as a team leader would be an advantage.
Open and adaptable
Work with a high level of accuracy, with strict deadlines, high-level skills in data critical analysis, be detail-oriented and systematic
Responsibilities:
Achieve the goals and objectives set and agreed with Business Unit Management.
Comply with and enforce all treasury procedures and regulations.
Ensure cash flow according to budget and forecast targets.
Collaborate with various teams and vendors to improve on-time payments, ensuring that agreed payment activity timelines are met.
Submit payments on time and employee expense claims to the Treasury Coordinator for approval, ensuring all payments have the correct supporting documentation (three matching principle check: Invoice, Purchase Order, Delivery Note).
Responsible for foreign payments, including submitting correctly completed BOP Forms for all inter-company and foreign supplier payments on the relevant banking platforms, ensuring the correct BOP category is selected and all required documentation is submitted in line with Currency and Exchange Regulations.
Ensure correct payment processing on ID4, including matching and clearing of invoices.
Ensure all bookings are compliant with terms and conditions from a finance perspective and relevant accounting standards.
Perform activities including, but not limited to, calculations, journals, banking, and payment reconciliations, as well as obtaining information from banking portals, to ensure that bank movements are processed correctly in ID4 in collaboration with the Treasury Coordinator.
Assist with Treasury Management Report preparations.
Assist with monthly treasury payment forecasting and demonstrate an understanding of the entire AP and AR functions by ensuring that Tooling, Capex, Raw Materials, IFRS 16, Services and Utilities, Spare Parts, and Inter-company payment schedules are forecasted accurately.
Assist with weekly treasury reporting to ensure that supporting payment schedules are updated (Tooling, Capex, Raw Material, IFRS 16, Services & Utilities, Spare Parts).
Conduct Accounts Receivables and Payables analysis and update commentary for actual payments and gaps, as well as the receivables and supplier age analysis reports.
Process employee expense claims.
Process directors' credit card transactions.
Support internal and external audits.
Handle any other ad hoc tasks as necessary.
