This is more than a number crunching role and requires significant operational input on a daily basis as part of the senior leadership team.

Finance Director - Role and Responsibilities - Finance / Senior Leadership / Accountancy

* Management of accounting department
* Accountable for daily financial operations to support the business
* Contribute to company strategy by providing accurate financial insight and input
* Evaluate business opportunities
* Prepare all necessary accounts and reports
* Cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders
* Oversee budgeting & forecasting
* Assume a place on the Senior Management Team
* Regularly review accounting processes to ensure they support the needs of a complex manufacturing business
* Carry out financial modelling
* Set and achieve short and long term financial objectives

Finance Director - Skills and Abilities - Finance / Senior Leadership / Accountancy

* Excellent knowledge and experience within manufacturing industries
* A Good Understanding and Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP) & Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs)
* Experience of Corporation Tax and Personal Tax
