A well established Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Wiltshire is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position with an immediate start. You must be eligible to work within the UK.
Hours: Monday - Friday Core hours 10am - 4pm


Salary:
Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience
Responsibilities to include:
• Providing monthly bookkeeping for clients
• Posting month-end accounting journals such as prepayments & accruals
• Leading on the running and submission of payroll for clients, and associated HMRC filings
• Production and filings of VAT returns
• Assisting clients with training and consultancy advice
• Assist with the production of monthly management reports
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts periodically and maintaining clear supporting
schedules
Requirements:
• 1 years’ experience within an Accountancy Practice environment desirable
• Use of Xero software desirable
• Excellent communication skills and enjoys building long-term relationships with
clients
