Chief Accountant

G2 Recruitment are working alongside our local authority client to hire a Chief Accountant

Contract type: Permanent contract or temporary contract with 3 month initial with likely extension

Hours: 5 days per week

Working Pattern (Flexible Hours/Remote): Onsite 2-3 days per week for the permanent position, open to discuss for the temporary role

Job Details:

This role will support my client as a Chief Accountant, managing their accountancy service internally.

Requirements:

Experience working as a Chief Accountant or similar level, with demonstrable line management experience
Experience within a local authority finance/accountancy setting
CCAB qualified
