Debriefing Manager
Reference: JHB000078-VMC-1Debriefing Manager required for our large, well-established logistics client based on the East Rand. Candidates are required to have a diploma/degree in business management or similar combined with debriefing and cross-border management experience. This is a strategic role with planning, developing and implementing the division's short and long term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the debriefing department
Debrief Local and Cross Border manifests and reconcile budgets
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the department's short-term and long-term goals
Analyze data and create reports to identify areas of business growth
Manage driver trip payments process
Monitoring budgeting expenses
Operate at High performance level and install a high-performance culture in subordinates
Conducting performance evaluations for staff
Preparing monthly reports and present to General Manager
Determine department goals and KPIs
Collect Cash Returns and pay in at Cash Office / Control Room
Assist in driver queries and manifest discrepancies
Filling and general administrative duties
Extract outstanding Debriefing Reports from VTS and liaise with Operations
Assist with operations admin / refunds & amendments
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Minimum of a diploma/degree in business management or similar
Computer literacy (VTS, MS Office)
Meticulous, accurate and attention to detail
Numeric skills
Organised, deadline orientated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong leadership skills
Trustworthy
Team Player
Must be able to work weekends when necessary
Must be able to work extended hours when required
Own transport
