Introduction
JUNIOR BOOKKEEPER POSITION - BOKSBURG
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions & Responsibilities:
Daily Cashbook posting • Track monthly expense spend against budgets - overs to be reported to Financial Director / Management • Regular Intercompany Trading & Loan Account Reconciliations • Capture and process expense claims for Branches / Staff monthly • Monthly Bank Recons • Update Transport schedule monthly • Capture all Fleet account expenses monthly • Capture and recon all company credit card expenses monthly • Keep company cellphone and landline schedules updated monthly, assist with new contracts / terminations • Assist with quarterly stock takes (counting & capturing) • Assist with annual financial audits. • Ad hoc accounting assistance within the department as and when required
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements:
Matric • Tertiary / Formal Qualification in Accounting (Degree / Diploma) • Own / reliable Transport • Neat and presentable • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken • Strong organizational skills • Able to work unsupervised • Accuracy and attention to detail
Computer Literacy in: o MS Office {Very good Excel Skills - V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Use of Formulas} o Email (Outlook) o Accounting Program - Pastel Evolution o Inventory Control Software - SAP / BPO • Strong account reconciliation skills and sound financial understanding • Minimum of 5 years work experience at the same level / in the same position
Package & Remuneration
R18 000 - R23 000PM negotiable plus Medical aid, pension
