Finance Business Partner - award winning and acquisitive business with hybrid working
Working for a very successful and acquisitive business an opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is a newly created role, offering great scope for career development within a business going through an exciting period of change.
We're looking for an ambitious, pragmatic and commercially astute qualified accountant to work closely with the operational teams to drive the business forward.
Finance Business Partner - Responsibilities include:
Compile and validate commercial/operational/manufacturing reporting packs and KPI Dashboard’s to summarise performance and aid decision making.
Take ownership of asset management, maintain the fixed asset registers and track capex spend.
Provide financial support with regards to capital expenditure requests.
Ensuring accurate and timely reporting/reconciliation of stock holding across all sites.
Make recommendations and implement system / process improvements to embed governance and continuous improvement culture.
Identify opportunities to drive value-add projects and future growth.
Work with Site Managers to develop reporting, monitor overhead expenditure and provide insight into site financials.
Carry out industry benchmarking where feasible to assess competitiveness.
Develop manufacturing reporting to enable standard cost variance review and drive efficiency.
Work closely with Financial Controller to deliver a robust monthly close procedure.
Assist CFO/Financial Controller with preparation of budgets / forecasts.
Manage rebate reporting.
Provide support with R&D claims.
Liaise with internal and external auditors when required and ensure recommendations are actioned and implemented.
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with commercial acumen. A self-starter who has experience of streamlining processes, adding value and strong business partnering experience.
Paying a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 and benefits including:

Car allowance
Bonus (up to 20%)
