Risk Manager, preferably with Risk Management and relevant Postgraduate qualifications and minimum 7 years experience in a similar position in the Asset Management environment, required to provide reliable, value-adding and independent feedback and advice to the Board, Exco and stakeholders of an Asset Management Company based in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs.

Minimum requirements:

• Top Academic with relevant Postgraduate and Risk Management qualifications
• Minimum 7 years' Financial Services Industry required, preferably Asset Management
• Specialist knowledge of relevant regulations advantageous
• Policy, Product, Industry and System knowledge required

Responsibilities:

• Improve automation and integration of risk management strategies, systems and processes
• Plan, execute and manager risk analysis and assessments - financial and operational
• Organise and draft risk reporting and executive summaries
• Advise management in identifying and quantifying risks and to mitigate exposure to risk
• Assist management in establishing risk strategies, policies and internal protocols
• Stakeholder relationship building and management
