We are now recruiting for an Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner role, working for an established business headquartered in North Leeds.

This is a true business partnering role, reporting directly into the Finance Director and working closely with the sales and marketing teams. The role would be ideally suited to an experienced finance business partner with the ability to effectively engage with sales teams and other non-finance stakeholders.

The key duties of the role will include:

Providing financial and commercial decision support to drive business performance
Evaluation of contract and pricing proposals, ensuring appropriate margins and cash in accordance with corporate guidance.
Co-ordinate preparation of internal proposals for new business/renewals for internal approval
Work in close partnership with the Commercial Finance Manager to ensure the business has the resource capacity to deliver commercial performance.
Proactively review commercial performance, whether actual or forecast and, as necessary lead in taking corrective action and/or providing decision support, engaging colleagues from across the business.
Develop and produce insightful and timely commercial reporting, sufficient to enable the business to understand commercial performance.
Investment appraisal of commercial and operational proposals and M&A.
Produce insightful and timely periodic reporting, sufficient to enable the business to understand commercial performance
Budgeting and forecasting

The successful candidate will:

Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
Have previous experience within a commercial finance/business partnering role
Have advanced excel and reporting skills
Have excellent leadership and influencing skills, both verbal and written, with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes
This is initially a 6 month contract but may have the potential of going permanent.
The role is paying circa £65000 or day rate equivalent.
