This accountancy firm are hiring a key job role for a Senior Accountant through to Manager grade, in a successful small practice, experiencing strong growth in clients currently, based close to Hucknall, Arnold and accessible from Nottingham and Mansfield.

The firm mainly have office-based working and use IT systems including IRIS, Sage, Quickbooks and Xero.

The job can be full or part time, depending on the successful applicant, so, the salary is open therefore, within reason.

Duties may include:

Monthly/Quarterly management accounting

Meetings with clients

Communication with and possible ownership of a portfolio of clients covering all aspects of accounting and tax services.

Training and mentoring more junior staff

Year-end statutory accounts preparation

Corporation tax calculations

Personal tax calculations and finalising self-assessment returns ready for submission

CIS calculations and submissions

Payroll processing (possible)
