Revenue and Product Specialist - Benoni
Our client is seeking a Revenue and Product Specialist to join their professional team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
  • Pursuit of continuous improvement across the pricing discipline through simplification, standardization, elimination and automation
  • Audit and compliance confirmation of pricing execution
  • Provide margin and profitability assurance to sales teams regarding offers/tenders
  • Work closely with procurement or other departments in determining costs and related mark-ups
  • Works closely with finance and sales in managing rebates and net customer margins
  • Collaborate with sales managers and area sales representatives to create pricing proposals
  • Follows the market feedback/market share information from customers and field force and proposes pricing actions accordingly
  • Collaborate towards a value driven product portfolio, balancing demand and supply
  • Identify market gaps and opportunities for product development, creating the business proposal to drive such introductions
  • Product management - manage product life cycle across multiple parties
  • Work together with technical, manufacturing and finance to ensure alignment towards and delivery of business opportunities
  • Develop automation tools
  • Conduct adhoc to weekly to monthly reporting on pricing execution and related margin maintenance
  • Ensure all pricing cut off dates are tracked carefully and executed expediently

Requirements:
  • Commerce degree or Honours
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation or other automation tools
  • Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
  • Working experience with JDE/Oracle
  • Ongoing analysis of the competitive environment and industry trends
  • Business case development for strategic campaigns
  • Database analysis to identify new opportunities and solutions
  • Experience in marketing or product management
  • Ability to think both strategically and analytically to identify and assess new opportunities
