Credit Controller
Salary:
£24,000 - £29,000

Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Credit Controller for a growing Financial Services business based in the City Centre of Manchester. The company has enjoyed a period of over 400% growth over the past 3 years and are on course to continue this growth path throughout 2024 and beyond. The client has a varied customer base, ranging from startups to established businesses and have helped businesses with over £4 billion worth of funding.
As a Credit controller, you will be responsible for the collection of debts ranging from £500 - £500,000 for a select portfolio of customers. Progression is readily available, having already promoted two members of the credit control team this year. This role would be perfect for a Credit Controller with 12-18 months experience or someone who is looking to step into a Credit Control position.

Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:
- Managing a portfolio of customers
- Posting of cash against a portfolio by the required deadlines
- Setting up and maintaining client files for Credit Control purposes
- Agreeing payment plans where appropriate
- Chasing outstanding debts by telephone and emails
- Communicating with clients regularly and providing updates
- Ensuring client queries are communicated and dealt with effectively
The ideal Credit Controller will have:
- Experience in working with a Credit Control role or an interest in Credit Control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to build rapport with a variety of different clients
- A good understanding of Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
