Our client is looking for an Accountant to join their team. This skilled position is ideal for candidates who enjoy accounting and customer service. Responsibilities:

Books till Trial Balance;
Processing on Sage Pastel Partner, Sage & Xero (Cashbook, Journals, etc.)
VAT processing and Submission of VAT Returns;
Handling client and SARS queries;
Calculation of Income Tax;
Submission of Income Tax Returns;
Calculation and Submission of Provisional Tax Returns

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' accountancy experience (preferably at an accounting form)
Matriculation with an accounting qualification (or studying towards this)
Experience with different accounting packages - Draftworx (a must), Caseware, Pastel and Xero (very important) and QuickBooks
Good analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt accordingly
Ability to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Great time management and self-discipline
An excellent planning and forecasting mindset
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans would be helpful
