As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for year-end accounts preparation, management accounts, and other client-focused projects, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key

Responsibilities:

Prepare working files and draft accounts for clients.
Address client queries and prepare discussion points for senior managers and partners.
Manage client accounts within agreed budgets.
Produce draft tax computations and provisions for inclusion in company accounts.
Ensure compliance with statutory disclosures according to company guidelines.
Identify tax planning opportunities while adhering to standard procedures.
Utilize accounting software to produce high-quality work.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical and professional skills.
Work towards professional qualifications, supported by full study packages.
Represent the firm professionally in client interactions and industry events.Experience & Skills:
Previous experience as an Accounts Senior in an accounting firm.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (IRIS, Xero preferred but not essential).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
Proactive, self-driven approach to work.Qualifications:
ACA or ACCA qualified (part-qualified candidates will be considered).
