Accounts Payable Specialist

Our finance team is currently implementing a new global ERP system. As a result, there is an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team to support AP Leaders who will be required to focus on ERP implementation work over the medium term. Accounts Payable responsibilities encompass ensuring efficient and accurate processing while adhering to approval processes and delegated financial authorities with a large team of Accounts Payable Administrators based in New Zealand and Indonesia.
This role is for a 9 month fixed-term.

To succeed in this role, you will:
- Display a strong penchant for process improvement, coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Identify process enhancements and confidently adapts to new systems and procedures
- Manage invoices across multiple locations, adhering to internal Delegation of Authorities and approval policies
- Supervise end-of-month processes within the accounts function, collaborating closely with the financial accounting team to meet reporting deadlines
- Distribute workload, manage performance, provide feedback, offer ongoing training, and guide the AP Team and business partners
- Familiarity with a medium to large ERP accounts payable system, preferably Oracle.
- Exposure to external and internal audit requirements
- A relevant finance degree would be advantageous
