This is a great opportunity for an experienced practice accountant with a strong practice background to work for an expanding Accountant’s firm in Lincoln, where they have an ethos of working together as a team.
Responsibilities:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced practice accountant with a strong practice background to work for an expanding Accountant’s firm in Lincoln, where they have an ethos of working together as a team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of financial statements from manual or computerised records for all types of entities.
- VAT Return preparation, review and filing for all types of entities.
- Client financial and management accounting.
- Entry of time and billing and practice management software modules.
- Migrating clients onto standardised bookkeeping systems and procedures.
- Improve efficiencies and client experience
- The successful candidate will likely be ACA/ACCA/AAT part- qualified or with demonstrable accountancy practice experience.
- Able to autonomously prepare draft financial accounts of all types of entities to a final draft with all minor queries resolved.
- The successful candidate will be able to prepare draft VAT Returns of all types of entities to a final draft with all minor queries resolved.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Able to meet strict deadlines; ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
