We are seeking an Accounts Receivable/Payable Officer to join our team on a 12 month FTC based from our Head Office in London Bridge (Hybrid Working).

You will be responsible for the timely processing, verification and reconciliation of supplier invoices and to ensure that suppliers are paid within established time limits.

Duties will include housekeeping of the system, working with stakeholders to resolve issues with supplier accounts, and resolving disputes to ensure the efficient running of the Accounts Receivable / Payable section.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role we recommend you demonstrate the below in your application;
  • Experience of working with and maintaining purchase & sales ledgers
  • Oracle Financials systems experience
  • Good ability in operating computerised accounting programmes.
  • Good competency in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel spreadsheet abilities.
  • Ability to work as a self-motivated member of a team taking initiative when opportunities arise.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise
  • Good interpersonal skills being an effective communicator and listener with the ability to provide clear and precise explanations
  • Confident out-going individual with a high level of personal integrity
  • Numerate, attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and efficiency when completing data entry tasks. Logical analytical approach with practical problem solving skills.
