Our client is a well-respected Retford based company, who are looking to grow their team with an experienced Senior Practice Accountant.

Responsibilities for Senior Practice Accountant:

• Preparation of accounts and managements accounts for limited companies, sole-traders, and partnerships to draft stage, ready for review.
• Assistance on audit assignments.
• Preparation of corporation tax computations and personal tax computations to draft stage, ready for review.
• Mentoring and training of more junior members of the team.
• It is expected that work will be undertaken both in the office and at client’s premises as required.

Requirements for Senior Practice Accountant position:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or QBE, with at least three-years practice experience
• Strong accounting system knowledge and Excel skills
• Good working knowledge of accounting standards and relevant taxation matters
• Experience of working on audit assignments desirable
• Ability to prepare year end accounts for companies, sole-traders, and partnerships to draft stage
