We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Trainee Accountant on behalf of a well-established professional services firm located in the heart of Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior accounts assistant in the early stages of their AAT studies to join a dynamic and growing finance team, taking on a comprehensive finance role that will initially focus on transactional duties.

About the Role:

Managing the Purchase Ledger

Overseeing Credit Control

Handling Billing and Invoice Processing

Assisting senior team members with ad hoc finance tasks

About You:

This position is ideal for someone at the beginning of their finance career who is eager to grow and develop their skills, or for someone looking to broaden their experience and take on a more well-rounded accounts assistant role. You may currently hold a position as a Finance Administrator, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Clerk, Billing Assistant, or Credit Controller. Ideally, you will have already embarked on your AAT studies and be enthusiastic about continuing them.
