Payroll Officer
£26,468 - £30,040 per annum
Clifton/Hybrid
Hours: 35
As a Payroll Officer for NCHA, you will be part of a small team ensuring that NCHA’s 1200 plus employees are paid accurately and on time. If you have great attention to detail, experience working with financial systems and the willingness to promote and adhere to our organisational values - then this could be the role for you.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will work alongside the existing Payroll Officer and Senior Payroll Officer to assist in the administration of NCHA Group’s payroll and pensions systems.
This will include but is not limited to:

Administering manual and computerised records and reconciliations in a timely manner
*
Assisting in operating relevant control accounts and control systems e.g. payroll, pensions etc
*
Preparing and processing relevant system entries
*
Extracting and analysing data from financial systems
*
Assisting in the production of statutory and other financial accounts
*
Developing and maintaining working relationships with customers; answering generic payroll queries

As well as having relevant payroll knowledge and experience, our ideal candidate will embody NCHA’s CLEAR values, and be able to use their initiative working within a small team.
This is a 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This is a partially agile role so you will work part of your week in the office and part of it at home depending on business needs. The office will be located in Clifton from September 2024. There will be the expectation from time to time to work additional hours when required, this will be given back in lieu. Full training and development will be provided to the successful candidate.
