We are working with our client, an award-winning, dynamic, fast-growing business who are searching for a Management Accountant for a 12-month maternity cover contract, being dedicated to creating exciting career opportunities for their employees, emphasising innovation, collaboration, and recognition, could this role be for you?
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
Essential
Recognised UK Accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
2-3 plus years of recent experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas
Strong and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work to deadlines
Good organisational skills
Experience with Dynamics 365 (desirable)
Within this position, you’ll also be:
Preparing the monthly management accounts for submission to the Board of Directors
Conducting analytical interrogation of financial data and present findings to the management team
Working with external auditors to deliver annual statutory accounts
Collecting weekly and monthly payroll data for submission to a third-party payroll provider for processing
Continuously develop financial controls and procedures
Maintaining and reconcile the balance sheet, including fixed asset registers
Preparing and submit quarterly VAT returns and annual P11Ds and PSA returns to HMRC
Developing monthly cost centre reviews
Deputising for the Financial Controller as required
Salary & Working Hours
Salary £40,000
40 Hours per week - 08:30 - 17:00
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
12-month Maternity Cover contract
