French Speaking Accountant

Hays Senior Finance is delighted to be partnered exclusively with this growing business to recruit a French-speaking accountant for them. The company has seen some exciting growth over the past 4 years due to acquisitions and setting up additional sites both across the UK and internationally.

Your new role

They are looking for a French-speaking accountant to look after their French subsidiary. The role of the accountant will be a varied one. You will oversee 1 transactional accounts assistant as well as perform duties to put together a set of management accounts. The job will also involve:

• Monthly management accounts preparation
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting external audits and preparation of statutory accounts
• Completing schedules needed in the production of the management accounts
• Control account reconciliations
• Variance analysis
• Supporting the Financial Director with the production of budgets
• Capex reporting and Capex spending
• Investigating audit queries and providing answers required in the audit process
• Assisting with year-end accounting
• Ad-hoc support to the finance team

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate would be a French speaker, as well as that, they would be comfortable working in an accounts role, preparing a set of management accounts.
