Account Manager
Reference: DBN002642-LP-1We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join an Umhlanga-based firm, where you will lead a team responsible for capturing clients' accounts and preparing fully reconciled management packs.In addition to team management, you will maintain your own portfolio of clients, providing bookkeeping services and financial guidance.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of post-articles experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in drafting Annual Financial Statements.
Proficiency in Xero is essential.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Well-presented and personable, with the ability to interact effectively with both staff and clients.
Duties and responsibilities:Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
Oversee the capture of clients' accounts and the preparation of fully reconciled management packs.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Client Management:
Manage a portfolio of clients, providing bookkeeping and financial services.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status, tax planning, and other related matters.
