In this broad and varied role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and records including invoice processing, payment runs and various banking reconciliations. This role requires strong attention to detail, strong organisational skills, the ability to handle multiple financial tasks efficiently and a really keen eye for numbers.

Requirements
What you'll be doing:
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Post purchase ledger invoices and match purchase orders to invoices.
- Run weekly purchase ledger payment reports from Sage.
- Manage finance inbox and respond to inquiries promptly or forward to relevant contacts.
- Regularly check credit scores for existing and new clients.
- Conduct monthly creditor reconciliations and prepare reports for senior management.
- Assist the wider team with ad-hoc finance tasks.
Banking:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and postings.
- Reconcile and post credit card transactions regularly.
- Handle direct debit allocations and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Complete weekly payment runs through the bank.
Requirements
What we'd love to see:
- Education: AAT Level 2 or equivalent (including qualified by experience)
- Experience: Previous experience in a Finance or Accounting role
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with Sage 200 or similar.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
- Organisational Skills: Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
