Are you an experienced sales Ledger person with excellent credit control experience, who enjoys talking to customers and getting the money in We all know how satisfying that can be, likewise if you have a tricky customer, you will not be alone, the person with the sales relationship or the MD if that is who has the relationship will help you out and that is called being a team player.
You will have 1 direct report and duties include:
The Candidate
The candidate we require should have extensive experience working in an accounts and office environment, with a solid background in managing accounts receivables. They should possess a good working knowledge of finance systems and be highly organised, demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a professional telephone manner, are crucial. The ideal candidate will have high emotional intelligence to navigate interpersonal interactions adeptly. They must be driven and focused on meeting customer expectations, perceived as an energetic individual by both customers and colleagues, and consistently delivering results.
The role is office based and is within commutable distance of Daventry, Crick, Rugby, Southam, Long Buckby, Lutterworth, Northampton, and Towcester.

You will have 1 direct report and duties include:
- Efficiently handle cash transactions and updates to financial records.
- Maintain and update the sales ledger, including raising daily sales invoices, high volume low value.
- Generate and manage credit notes for adjustments or returns.
- Address and resolve invoice-related queries promptly.
- Manage incoming communications and prioritise responses.
- Monitor aged debtors and maintain cash collection in accordance with company credit terms.
- Collaborate with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller to produce a monthly report for the Senior Management Team, detailing any overdue debts and required actions.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of cash flow.
- Assist in the annual audit process in collaboration with the Management Accountant, Financial Controller, and audit team.
- Perform any additional tasks as required and directed by the Financial Controller and Managing Director.

Remuneration
- £28,000 £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 25 days holiday plus statutory days an additional day off for your birthday.

- Working hours 8.30am -5.00pm Monday to Friday or 9am -5.00pm
