Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager-Payroll to join our dynamic Accounts & Finance team. The Manager-Payroll will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits for our employees. This role requires a high level of confidentiality and a strong understanding of payroll regulations in India.
Responsibilities:
• Provident Fund (PF) Management: PF deductions, ensuring timely deposit of employer's PF contribution along with employee contributions to the EPFO, filing monthly PF returns (Form 5 and Form 10) and annual returns (Form 3A and Form 6A) with the EPFO, facilitating PF withdrawals and transfers based on requests.
• Ensuring timely preparation and submission of income tax, GST, PF and ESI challans.

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager-Payroll to join our dynamic Accounts & Finance team. The Manager-Payroll will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits for our employees. This role requires a high level of confidentiality and a strong understanding of payroll regulations in India.
Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll and benefits for employees using payroll software (ADP and Sodexo/Pluxee) or transition to new software/vendor as per org. requirements.
- Calculate wages, deductions, overtime, Full and final settlements, Gratuity calculations, leave encashment etc., ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies.
- Verify attendance, sick leave, and other relevant data prior to processing payroll.
- Generate and distribute accurate payroll reports to management.
- Monthly Reconciliation of payroll reports from ADP paysheet to maintain accuracy.
- TDS reconciliations for Salary and Form 16 generation through ADP.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately.
- Managing performance linked payouts - performance linked bonus/ equity/ variable pay.
- Recommend changes in compensation breakup or benefits as per market trends or government regulations.
- Work with HR and compliance vendor for labor compliance requirements - registration, notification to various government authorities.

- Prepare and file necessary payroll taxes and other statutory deductions as per Indian laws.
- Participate in payroll audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Qualifications :
- MBA/M.Com or similar master degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources etc.
- 8- 15 years of proven work experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, with at least relevant 7 years of experience in handling payroll for 200 employee size of company.
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll transactions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and address employee inquiries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional - CPP) or related field is a plus.
- Experience with ADP and Sodexo/Pluxee is highly desirable.
