How you'll make an impact
You will ensure the company's daily financial operations are efficient and aligned with long-term forecasts. You will play a vital part in managing the finance and accounting functions, ensuring all internal and external reporting requirements are met on time. This role will support broad company initiatives and interact with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Coordinate the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including providing detailed commentary and performance reporting.
- Prepare short-, medium-, and long-term cash flow forecasts to assist in managing working capital.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller and FP&A team to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and sharing of essential information, providing insights to improve performance and control spending.
- Produce monthly and quarterly debt and investor reports.
- Assist in preparing the company's annual accounts in conjunction with local fiduciaries and act as a key contact for local and group audit processes with external providers.
- Support the production and review of VAT and other tax returns (including capital allowance returns), submit them to the relevant tax authorities, address any queries, and liaise with external advisers.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal financial controls and risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with the company's internal financial control systems, processes, and policies across all operations.
- Support the business with ad hoc data requests, insights, financial planning, and analysis.
- Lead, develop, and motivate direct reports, identify training needs, and mentor team members.

- Be a fully qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Have experience building and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, including external advisers and auditors.
- Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills across various formats and styles.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Be skilled in collaborative work across different functions to achieve shared goals and business objectives.
