A leading company in the FMCG industry with a robust national and international presence is seeking an experienced Accountant. In this pivotal role, you will manage comprehensive stock control functions and drive operational efficiencies to minimize stock losses, working closely with key site Heads of Departments

Job & Company Description:
In this role, you will deliver comprehensive cost management services to the management team, focusing on deviation reporting and waste reduction. You will establish and manage cost accounting procedures, perform daily stock reconciliations, and address variances to drive corrective actions. Responsibilities include accurate stock recording and reporting through financial journals and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring adherence to and continuous improvement of stock control procedures. You will assist in annual budget preparation, provide guidance to Sales Managers on route viability and cost to serve, and handle cashbook reconciliation, month-end processing, budgeting, forecasting, expense analysis, and depot financial reporting. Additionally, you will supervise the Depot Admin team, control depot stock, and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Education:

• Accounting Degree / Diploma
• CIMA Qualified

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3 years' experience cost accountant experience
• 2 years' experience in an FMCG industry
