We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Finance Analyst (Assistant Business Controller - services) for a 6-month fixed term contract based in our UK Headquarters based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
A JOB THAT MATTERS: YOUR TASKS
The role is to support the Business Controller - services in many of the tasks that this individual carries out on behalf of the organization. Much of the work will involve financial analysis on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and preparing subsequent reports, budgets and forecasts for the use of senior management and directors. This will involve the governance of Master data, so we need someone who is confident with data analysis and manipulation and who is not afraid to question what they see.
Outside of this you will be designated some individual project work, looking into a number of different aspects of the company’s operations, so we need someone who is self-motivated, takes ownership and responsibility and a consistency of approach in everything they do.
Lastly you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills. The role will mean dealing with individuals at all levels of our organization and dealing with their queries and requests as well as having the confidence to gather information for your own responsibilities.

EXPIERENCE THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS
- Ideally a Graduate in Accountancy and / or Finance however other Graduates can apply
- Individuals that are highly numerate (i.e. A level maths) and can demonstrate this.
- Good knowledge of MS office products, with MS Excel to an intermediate level (use of formulas, logical functions, Pivot tables, v/xlookup etc.)
- SAP experience an advantage
- Self starter, self motivated and curious to find the answers
- Ability to work independently, prioritise your work effectively and meet any tight deadlines
