You will join a thriving SME known for our innovative approach and ambitious growth plans. They have been expanding rapidly through strategic acquisition and organic sales growth and are looking for a talented Financial Controller to join the team. This varied and broad role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact - reporting directly to the approachable and experienced FD.

As Part-Time Financial Controller, you will:

• Manage a small finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial control and processes.
  
• Report directly to the Finance Director (FD), providing critical support and insights and ensuring a slick and streamlined month end.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support strategic decision-making with detailed financial analysis and insights.

You will need:

• Proven experience in a financial controller or similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• To be part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
