We are focused on transaction, restructuring, and advisory work and are a leading provider of tax advice to the mid-market transactions sector. As part of our mission to grow our team of skilled tax advisers, we are looking to welcome anew Employment Tax Manager. Within the K3 Capital group, we work alongside M&A, corporate recovery, tax investigation, forensic accounting, and R&D teams. K3 Capital operates across 30+ UK offices and 6 overseas locations and continues to grow through acquisition of complementary businesses.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will come from a global mobility, employment tax, payroll, or reward background, with a solid understanding of related compliance matters. Previous experience undertaking employment tax advisory work would be beneficial. Candidates should have experience and breadth of knowledge across UK domestic employment tax. This should encompass a detailed knowledge of the tax implications of expenses and benefits, termination payments, salary sacrifice and employment status and IR35. Knowledge of global mobility matters, CIS, CJRS or NMW would be advantageous.

We meet several times a year at whole-team offsite events to keep in touch with one another and develop strategy together. What would you be doing?
- Drafting tax advice for review by senior team members
- Supporting our transaction tax team on due diligence projects, in relation to employment tax matters, including the preparation of tax due diligence reports
- Supporting clients through HMRC compliance checks and enquiries
- Preparation of voluntary disclosures for submission to HMRC
- Scoping and costing new projects
- Build relationships across the wider K3 group to improve awareness of the employment tax support that can be provided to the business and our clients.
You'll be;
- Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or ACA/ ACCA qualified - ideally with at least 2 years PQE OR 'Qualified by Experience' (we would also be happy to consider those who are midway through their studies, but who are keen to qualify)
- Bringing Employment Tax experience and specialist knowledge to the table
- Either an existing Manager or looking to take the step up
