We are a family of inspiring nurseries and preschools dedicated to creating awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. As our Accounts Receivable Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of receipts and credits within our accounts receivable team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day processing of receipts and credits
- Provide training and support to team members on systems and procedures
- Act as the systems super-user for our revenue recording system
- Assist with migration of data for new acquisitions
- Maintain knowledge of Council Funding across multiple local authorities
- Create and maintain documented procedures for processing within the department
- Support and train nursery managers in system use
- Respond to billing queries in a timely manner
- Update fee sheets and liaise with marketing manager
- Ensure data is processed in accordance with GDPR guidelines
- Review and collect outstanding payments from parent debtor accounts
- Assist in debt write offs and reporting to the financial controller
- Demonstrate company values in all actions
Qualifications:
- A-level education or equivalent
- AAT level 2 desired
- Willingness to pursue further qualifications and CPD
Knowledge & Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in sales ledger management or billing analysis
- Knowledge of invoicing and debt collection processes
- Familiarity with nursery management software systems
