As an Audit Semi Senior, you will be integral to our client's audit team, working on a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from SMEs to large corporations. You will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of audit assignments, ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards and regulations. Your role will involve working closely with clients, providing them with valuable insights and recommendations to enhance their business processes and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will be a student currently studying towards their ACA or ACCA qualification, with a strong background in audit and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing audit assignments from start to finish
  • Conduct detailed testing of financial statements and related accounts
  • Prepare audit documentation and reports in compliance with UK auditing standards
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and provide recommendations
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Stay updated with changes in audit regulations and industry best practices

Requirements:
  • Currently studying towards ACA/ACCA qualification
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong understanding of UK auditing standards and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
