Isaac James Associates has partnered with a Global Accounting firm to appoint a Manager - Accounting Advisory Services, in their Reading Office. This firm has been enjoying sustainable growth and is a practice that proactively manages the career aspirations of its staff through sector leading training, development and mentoring programs.

The team support the firm’s clients with the interpretation and implementation of accounting standards, assisting them with a wide variety of issues.

Your new role

In your new role you will be advising your clients to ensure the effective delivery of a variety of issues including:
  • Acquisitions and Disposals
  • Revenue recognition
  • Financial Instruments
  • FRS 101 & 102 transitions
  • Accounting manuals

Candidate requirements

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA), ideally audit trained with a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for delivering technical advisory services.

This role is ideally suited to somebody who wants to move away from Audit and who enjoys client interaction. Ideally you will have some previous experience delivering technical assessments to clients, but this is not essential.

This is a client facing and highly commercial role, so strong communication skills are key. Part of the role involves business development both within the firms existing Audit client base, and with other potential external clients.
