We are 4Com; an award winning, market leading telecoms company that are currently going through an exciting period of growth. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team.

As an Accounts Assistant, your primary role is to support the Finance Manager in managing the purchase ledger and Treasury tasks to ensure smooth business operations. You may also assist the management accounts team as needed.

Please note that this role is office based in Bournemouth.

In return for this, we are looking for someone who has:
  • Previous experience in similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage 200.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


What would I be doing as an Accounts Assistant at 4Com?
  • Manage and record daily cash transactions, including daily bank reconciliations.
  • Handle daily funder pay-outs, ensuring all transactions are reconciled, posted, and allocated.
  • Assist in preparing short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Upload sales invoices from the Billing and Credit Control team into Sage.
  • Process supplier invoices in line with approval limits and ensure all invoices are correctly coded.
  • Resolve queries from suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update the settlements spreadsheet, forecast payments, and handle customer queries.
  • Support the finance team in additional areas as required.
