We are supporting a South Leeds based Manufacturer looking to appoint a Finance Assistant for a new role in their finance team.

The position could suit a late stages or recently qualified AAT studier, who is looking to gain month end exposure under a qualified FC.

Main duties of the role:

Preparation of Accruals and Prepayments
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
Preparation of cash flow records and forecasts.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
Collection and input of expense claims
Cover of accounts payable and receivable roles when required
Assist with VAT return preparation
Participate in the improvement and implementation of financial procedures and controls
Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor queries.About you:

AAT Level 3 or 4
Month end experience - knowledge of accruals or prepayments
Experience gained in practice or industry
Appetite to "get involved" and devlop in a growing a sucessful business

Salary:
£25,000 - £28,000 + Study Package for AAT / ACCA / CIMA
