We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a friendly team in Nottingham that offers hybrid working. This position is a temp to perm opportunity, so immediate or short notice is preferred.

The role will see you:

Processing accounts payable activities including paying supplier invoices and expenses.
Managing customer agreements to ensure the correct processing of payments and account activities.
Monitoring bank accounts to ensure sufficient funds and complete the required postings.
Managing financial aspects financial aspects both customer accounts and profit and loss accounts.
Getting involved in portfolio management work in line with accounting standards.
Producing daily bank reconciliations and ensuring that all discrepancies are dealt with
You will need:

A decisive decision maker, who will actively seek all the information required, demonstrating great attention to detail
To work closely as part of a team to improve processes and enhance performance.
Experience in an accounts role and an AAT or equivalent qualification/ working toward is also beneficial.
Immediate or short notice as this is a temp to perm opportunity.
Pay and Benefits:

Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm, a potential for occasional weekend work also, so flexibility is required.
£30,000 - £35,000 DOE
