Search Consultancy are working closely with an exciting and well respected organisation in Harrogate to recruit an Assistant Accountant to work within an established finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, post journals, process monthly prepayments and accruals, as well as completing balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and other ad hoc duties as required.

You will be a competent excel user (pivot tables, v-lookups) and ideally be working towards an accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA). You will have worked in a transactional finance role previously and have experience of managing a purchase ledger and sales ledger.
