Position Overview:The Head of Business Unit - Operations/Finance will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational and financial aspects of the business unit. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial management, and a proven track record in optimizing business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring financial stability, and enhancing operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement the business unit's strategic plans, aligning them with the overall company strategy.
Identify growth opportunities and areas for operational improvement.
Set and ensure that targets are met and exceeded from a cost, quality, and time perspective.

Financial Management:

Oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Operational Excellence:

Streamline business processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement best practices in operations management, including supply chain, logistics, and customer service.
Develop and maintain KPIs to measure operational performance and productivity.
Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015 standards throughout the company's operations.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and coordination.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure robust internal controls and audit processes are in place.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
Liaise with key customers on commercial aspects of the business related to the organization's operations.
Represent the business unit in meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Supply Chain Management:

Manage the organization's supply chain activities, including sourcing, procurement, and logistics, across both local and foreign markets.
Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operations or finance role, preferably within manufacturing sector.
Strong financial acumen and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
Proficient in {relevant software/tools, e.g., ERP systems, financial software}.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge and experience in implementing ISO 9001:2015 standards.
