Treasury Analyst - Africa
Reference: JHB000244-CB-1A leading ICT company is looking for a Treasury Analyst to join their team. The Treasury Analyst will support the Corporate Treasury team in various operational activities within the Africa region.
Education:
Accounting Degree or similar
Skills/Experience required:
3-5 years' experience within treasury and accounts payable
Experience working on Oracle will be an advantage
Advanced Excel skills
Job Description:
Execute cash operations and support Oracle-based payment systems in African markets.
Assist in the cash forecasting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and enhance relationships with treasury service providers and internal stakeholders.
Assess and integrate new treasury services to meet business needs.
Coordinate with departments such as Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and IT to facilitate the implementation of treasury services and or transactions.
Support the execution of treasury activities inline with that of treasury and cash management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other internal and regulatory requirements.
Handle internal and external audit queries and contribute to the implementation of best practices and process improvements.
Assist with the oversight of banking activities, mandates and service level agreements with internal departments.
Processing of intercompany loan note transactions, including interest and principal payments.
Monitoring of daily cash flows to ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements.
Provision of backup support to the Analyst team in European markets for treasury operational activities.
