The role of a financial advisor is one that demands utmost professionalism, integrity and a customer-centric approach. An accredited financial advisor commands the respect and trust of those customers who are entrusting their and their families financial futures to them.

At a glance it is about championing our valued customers to achieve their lifetime goals by identifying their financial needs, providing sound financial advice, recommending and implementing "fit for purpose" financial plans and solutions

Generate leads through prospecting, networking and relationship building, resulting in ongoing customer interaction and relationship management.
Accredited in OMPFA product sets to service the needs of in-segment customer
Compliance with PFA's processes and standards as well as relevant financial services laws and regulations (FAIS).
Provide holistic financial advice utilizing the 6-step financial planning process.
Conduct a GDM and complete a financial needs analysis.
Gather, collate, analyse and synthesize customer information.
Conduct appropriate research when performing analysis and developing financial solutions and product recommendations.
Provides professional advice in the best interest of the customer.
Maintains awareness of changes in the economic, political, and regulatory environment.
Engaged in continuous professional development to ensure relevance of knowledge and skills.
Work towards developing professional competency and obtaining certification with recognized professional bodies ie.FPI (FSA, RFP, CFP). completion of the prescribed regulatory exams, class of business training and accreditation with the Financial Services Regulatory authority.
Conduct annual reviews to ensure customer financial plans/portfolio are in line and relevant to their lifetime goals.
Build a solid and sustainable practice through maintain existing customers, prospecting new customers and submitting quality business.

A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
2 to 3 Years prior work experience
Access to in-segment market and existing network/ Client Base
Must meet the DOFA/Fit & proper requirements (if candidate has a DOFA date)
A valid Driver's license and own car/ or access to a vehicle
A clear criminal and credit check
Proven computer literacy and digital dexterity
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Sound planning and organizing abilities
Ability to collate, analyze and synthesize information
Entrepreneurial mindset
Sound business acumen
GRIT, resilience and tenacity to stay the course.
Sales orientation
Must be able to work retail branch hours
Adherence to OMF Branch protocols
Ability to reach clients via service interactions with clients whereafter they will offer financial advice and PFA product sets aligned to client needs.
Able to reach clients via referrals from branch colleagues for PFA segment clients
Able to provide MFC and RMM channels with their respected segment referrals by using the referral script
Advisor will pay a seat cost for the opportunity to have access to clients
