The Organisation requires the services Specialist: Demand, Acquisition, and Contract Management in the Supply Chain Management Division. This position is on a fixed-term contract of 3 years and will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

- Review, develop, and manage the implementation of a demand and acquisition strategy for the South African National Parks (SANParks).
- Optimize existing procurement processes and design new processes when appropriate, to ensure effective service delivery (customer service).
- Provide oversight of the contract management process, as well as the development of specific standards for bidding and submission, contract negotiation, and document management.
- Contract Administration and Manage Supplier Performance.
- Ensure proper market, commodity, and needs analyses are conducted.
- Raise awareness of all relevant SCM policies and ensure compliance within the organisation.
- Manage bidding processes and acquisition activities, by providing strategic and advisory support to SCM Committees.
- Analyse organizational budgets and develop business cases that support acquisition strategies.
- Develop a SANParks procurement plan and ensure monitoring and proper reporting thereof.
- Lead, develop, and manage the human capital and ensure sound financial management of the unit.
Required Qualifications, Experiences and Skills - Have a Degree (NQFL7) in Supply Chain Management Or Procurement Or Logistics or Finance or Law.
- Have a minimum of 8 years of work years' experience of and 5 years at management level.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of PFMA Act, PPPFA and its Regulations, CIDB Act, Infrastructure Procurement, BBBE-E Act,Instruction Notes and other relevant related Legislations.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing.
- An understanding of contract management.
- Knowledge of roles and responsibilities of SCM Committees.
- Knowledge of project and risk management.
