Introduction
Senior Creditors Clerk needed in a Large Pharmaceutical Company based in Bryanston Johannesburg.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reconcile the supplier accounts for the 7 pharmacy branches

- Do in depth reconciliation clean ups from all three systems, Pastel, Xero and CKS going back a number of years.

- Follow up with branches on recon variances and get to the bottom of them, then do the necessary correcting entries.

- Fix all the errors by correcting journals

- Catch up recons of all suppliers for all branches, then maintain them on a monthly basis.

- Prepare monthly payment batches.

- Import the CKS supplier purchase transactions into Pastel every month.

- Handle inquiries

- Potentially visit branches from time to time to check paperwork

- Assist the cost accountant with other admin and accounting tasks related to the Cornerstone Pharmacy
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric

- Financial Qualification will be beneficial

- 5 Years + Creditors Experience

- Experience with Creditors Reconciliations

- Computer Programmes: Pastel Partner / Xero Accounting / CKS or Unisolve

They MUST HAVE:

- a good working knowledge of Pastel Partner and Xero accounting.

- knowledge of the CKS pharmaceutical software used for stock management, purchases and sales.

- advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Vlookup and pivot tables amongst other things.

- very strong SUPPLIER/ CREDITORS reconciliation skills with HIGH transaction volume supplier accounts.

- a good understanding of working with more than one system, where data is being imported or captured between different software packages or systems.

- an understanding of the pharmaceutical environment.

- a solid understanding of debits and credits/ basic bookkeeping, to understand how the entries affect the general ledger.

- a working knowledge of OneDrive and working in the cloud.

- at least five years' experience in creditors, reconciling and excel advanced.
