Introduction
The Finance Executive is a key role in managing the company's financial activities. The incumbent will work closely with the other members of the finance team to ensure the effective management of financial resources, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Assist in the development of the company's financial plans and budgets.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Budget Management:
  • Monitor and manage the company's budgets, including variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Work closely with department heads to track and control expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary targets.

Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor cash flow projections and manage cash flow effectively to meet operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cash flow and minimize working capital requirements.

Financial Operations and Capital Raising:
  • Capital raising for operational and growth needs.
  • In-depth understanding of project finance.
  • In-depth understanding of Asset management.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements related to financial operations.

Financial Systems and Processes:
  • Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement new technologies and tools to streamline financial operations and reporting.

Financial Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.


Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • CPA or CFA certification (advantage)
  • 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, focusing on financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills. (5 of which should be at a senior level)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP.
  • Experience with financial systems and software.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities.
  • Strong adaptability and change management skills.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
