Introduction

Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data to support business decision-making and drive efficiency and profitability. . Have the ability to identify trends , develop insights and communicate results. The Business Intelligence Analyst must also provide analysis for specific request of business results.

Specific Accountabilities
Performance Tracking & Trend Analysis Analysing tracking, and interpreting Ensuring the accuracy of the reports and results that are shared with third parties and internally. Preparing standard templates so that reports are sent timeously each month. Respond to ad hoc requests for data in a timely manner. Collaborate with each business unit to ensure develop reports that support their business objectives. Identify and define business problems and develop innovative solutions using data-driven approaches. Utilize advanced modeling techniques to analyze large datasets and generate insights that drive business decisions. Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner using data visualizations and compelling storytelling techniques.

- Direct Selling ratios (e.g. active sales; recruits; activity %)
- Daily & weekly Recruiting
- Weekly Narratives
- Recruiting demographics
- Genealogy
- Regional & Company performance
- Inventory category performance.
- Data Centralisation
- Gather and analyse data from various sources, including sales, inventory, and customer databases.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPI's) and develop reports to monitor and track business performance.
- Conduct data mining and statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights.
- Develop forecasts and predictive models to support business planning and forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Build, maintain and enhance data, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytical purposes.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technology advancements and apply them to the company.
- Inventory Analysis
- Ensure effective inventory management by providing meaningful information and recommendations on a monthly basis to the marketing team.
- Ensure that assist company meets its objectives in terms of inventory, sales, and gross profit targets
- Incentive Analysis
- Be involved in the Incentive Planning sessions.
- Responsible for determining cost benefit analysis of incentives.
- Undertake postmortem incentive performance trend analysis to ensure primary objectives are met.
- Identification and make recommendations on incentive programmes performance and return on investment
- Coordinate the following company reporting, but not limited to:
- Promotional results
- Event and Conference recognition results
- Company results / Recognition
- Run regular on pace results for the relevant divisions to ensure accurate promotional accruals.
- Consolidate and track company events and challenges.
- Forecasting
- Review quarterly forecasts on the various promotional challenges as developed by the company and provide advice to the incentive team about forecasted numbers and the spent-on promotions.
- Identify risks where the company will overspend against forecast that will lead to increased promotional costs.
- Support
- Provide stakeholder support relating to recognition results and initiatives.
- Provide Ad hoc information from time to time as required.
- Assist in providing information around the annual financial plan and audit process.
- Data integrity of reports to be analysed and monitored and any discrepancies and errors highlighted.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a qualitative field such business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field plus 3 years commercial experience in a related environment.
- Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel, SQL)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and processes
- Excellent Computer Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint SQL, and Oracle Databases
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business objectives into data-driven questions.
- Previous knowledge and experience within Direct Selling industry preferrable
Key Accountabilities

- Knowledge or experience working on NetSuite is preferable.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical focus
- Ability to analyse and solve problems.
- Ability to use an automated accounting system.
- Ability to maintain good customer relations.
