About this Role

To support the management accounting function of the Trust, reporting to the CFO, to deliver a first-class finance service to the Trust and its constituent schools.

To produce and analyse key financial reports and provide an accurate financial picture of central functions.

The successful candidate will develop a broad understanding of the operational landscape of the Trust and be able to effectively convert this into a financial picture that is customer friendly and allows for non-finance colleagues to quickly grasp the key concepts.

Since 2014, when Maiden Erlegh Trust was established, we have expanded to become 8 schools serving Berkshire and South Oxfordshire covering the breadth of educational provision from EYFS to Post-16 in mainstream, special and alternative provision. We also have a new free school in the pre-opening phase: River Academy opening in September 2024 (a secondary school in the heart of Reading providing 1,500 places).
